Tuckahoe In The Community

We're a school community dedicated to supporting all APS schools through community service and addressing student needs. We believe that by joining forces, we can bring about positive changes in our Arlington community. Our aim is to nurture a culture of kindness and generosity that motivates everyone to contribute in similar ways.

Carlin Springs Elementary School:  Amazon Wish List (items directly delivered to Carlin Springs)

Special Education PTA (SEPTA): Arlington SEPTA’s Amazon Wishlist
This year Arlington Special Education PTA's Mini Grant Committee received applications totaling over $20,000, but only had $8,500 in the budget to distribute. Therefore we are reaching out to the community to help us fulfill as many requests as possible to help these wonderful APS educators support their students’ various learning needs.  Use this link to access the SEPTA Mini-Grant Wish List

Items in this wishlist will directly support APS students and staff in programs and schools throughout the county from PreK through Grade 12/+. The wish list includes a number of sensory items, such as: flexible seating, fidgets, and self-regulation tools. The list also includes specific toys and materials requested by APS educators to help provide opportunities for their students to develop important communication and social skills, engage in pretend play, and improve both fine and gross motor skills. We hope you enjoy shopping to fulfill an educator’s wish!
